Welcome to St Anthony's School Website and to our School.
St Anthony's School is located in the town of Cinderford in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
We are a well known Primary School with a Christian foundation and strong links with the Catholic Church nearby and we welcome children of all faiths and none.
St Anthony's provides an environment where children can develop their full potential in an atmosphere that builds confidence and nurtures a love of
learning.
The Board of St Anthony’s School has been considering the option of applying to join the Free Schools initiative launched by the Government. Joining the Free Schools initiative would provide St. Anthony’s with an opportunity to broaden the availability of the education we offer and remove the need to charge a fee, with no lessening of our independence and still retaining the strong relationship that we have with the Catholic Church and the Franciscan Sisters.
Expressions of Interest
We already have the support of parents and staff and we are now looking for interest from those who support the ethos of the school and would place St Anthony’s as one of the choices of school for their child. Those who have already expressed interest will be included in our application but if you, or anyone you know, would like your children to attend St. Anthony’s but are unable to commit to the fees, please download a form (click on the lower download icon on this page), fill it out and send it in to school to register interest or email Mrs James at: admin@stanthonysschool.info
If you email us to express your interest, please be sure to leave your name, address, postcode, contact number/ email address together with the age(s) of your child(ren).
